Behind the scenes on a recent shoot!

We recently traveled to The Gatekeeper's Museum in Tahoe City, California to explore the history of Lake Tahoe for our upcoming documentary film:
"First Ascent from the S.S. Tahoe" featuring New Millennium Dive Expeditions.

We went to The Gatekeeper's Museum to interview local Lake Tahoe Historian Carol Van Etten.
Carol is a tremendous source for  information about Lake Tahoe's maritime history.

Martin McClellan,  who is Project Coordinator for New Millennium Dive Expeditions, meets with Carol Van Etten outside The Gatekeeper Museum.

The Gatekeeper's Museum is a great place to find out about the rich history of Lake Tahoe.
Included in the many displays in the museum was a scale model of the Steamer Ship Tahoe,
"The Queen of the Lake!"

Our interview with Carol Van Etten revealed much about Lake Tahoe and how the S.S. Tahoe helped to shape the history of Lake Tahoe during the steamer's service on the lake.
Thanks again to Carol and The Gatekeeper's Museum for their participation!
